Naproxen
Naproxen, sold under the brand name Aleve among others, is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat pain, menstrual cramps, and inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, gout and fever. It is taken orally. It is available in immediate and delayed release formulations. Onset of effects is within an hour and lasts for up to twelve hours. Naproxen is also available in salt form, naproxen sodium, which has better solubility when taken orally.
Naproxen จำหน่ายภายใต้ชื่อการค้า Aleve และชื่อการค้าอื่น ๆ เป็นยาต้านการอักเสบที่ไม่ใช่สเตอรอยด์ (NSAID) ใช้รักษาอาการปวด ปวดประจำเดือน และโรคที่มีการอักเสบ เช่น โรคข้ออักเสบรูมาตอยด์ โรคเกาต์ และไข้ รับประทานทางปาก มีจำหน่ายในรูปแบบตำรับปล่อยยาทันทีและตำรับปล่อยยาแบบล่าช้า ยาเริ่มออกฤทธิ์ภายใน 1 ชั่วโมง และออกฤทธิ์ได้นานถึง 12 ชั่วโมง นอกจากนี้ Naproxen ยังมีจำหน่ายในรูปแบบเกลือ คือ naproxen sodium ซึ่งมีความสามารถในการละลายได้ดีกว่าเมื่อรับประทานทางปาก

Naproxen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) belonging to the propionic acid derivative class, widely used to relieve mild to moderate pain, reduce inflammation, and lower fever.[1] It is indicated for conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, gouty arthritis, bursitis, tendonitis, primary dysmenorrhea, and acute musculoskeletal pain.[2] Available both by prescription and over-the-counter, naproxen is commonly prescribed or self-administered for headaches, toothaches, backaches, menstrual cramps, and minor injuries.[3]
