Natamet Eye Drop

Natamycin, also known as pimaricin, is a naturally occurring polyene macrolide antifungal antibiotic produced by the bacterium Streptomyces natalensis.[1][2] With the chemical formula C33H47NO13 and a molecular weight of 665.7 g/mol, it functions by binding to ergosterol in fungal cell membranes, disrupting their integrity and inhibiting the growth of yeasts and molds without affecting bacteria or higher organisms.[2][1]
