Dulavin

Anidulafungin (INN) (sold under the brand name Eraxis among others, is a semisynthetic echinocandin used as an antifungal medication. It may also have application in treating invasive Aspergillus infection when used in combination with voriconazole. It is a member of the class of antifungal drugs known as the echinocandins; its mechanism of action is by inhibition of -β-D-glucan synthase, an enzyme important to the synthesis of the fungal cell wall.

Anidulafungin is a semisynthetic lipopeptide antifungal agent derived from the fermentation product of Aspergillus nidulans, belonging to the echinocandin class of drugs.[1] It is administered intravenously and is indicated for the treatment of candidemia and other forms of invasive candidiasis, including intra-abdominal abscesses and peritonitis, in adults and pediatric patients aged 1 month and older.[1] Additionally, it is used for esophageal candidiasis in adults.[1]
